Outdoor inline wheels

Summer is nearly here so grab your rollers and chuck on some outdoor inline hockey wheels.

Now you’re probably wondering is there much difference between all the outdoor inline hockey wheels?!

The short answer is yes!!!

Let’s start with our Konixx range, they offer 3 outdoor wheel models in the Konixx family which meets everyones budgets and performance points.

What we stock….

Konixx Triton 82a wheels

Konixx Rocket 2X 84a Wheels

Konixx Pure-X Street 85a Wheels

Konixx Triton

The Triton is the cheapest in the family with a 82a hardness. The high rebound urethane formula and a proven five-star urethane hub is a single pour wheel. This is the softest wheel we would recommend for outdoor skating.

The Triton is by far the cheapest outdoor wheel you can get which will give you performance and a comfortable skate.

This wheel is available in 59mm, 68mm, 72mm, 76mm and 80mm.

Who we recommend this wheel for?

If you are a lighter skater looking for an outdoor wheel or if you’re on a budget.

Konixx Rocket 2X

The Rocket 2X is a popular wheel of choice and sits right in the middle at 84a hardness.

The Rocket 2X has a proven Five-Star urethane hub, Konixx has created a wheel that will outlast and outperform all else on rougher surfaces at 84a. If you’re looking for a stiff and hard wheel then the Rocket 2X is the one for you.

This wheel is available in 59mm, 68mm, 72mm, 76mm and 80mm.

Who we recommend this wheel for?

The Rocket 2X should be your go to wheel if you want a stiff robust wheel for a mix of outdoor surfaces at a mid-level price point.

Konixx Pure-X Street

If you want the feel and performance of a high end wheel but for outside then the Pure-X Street is the wheel for you. This wheel is a dual pour and is 85a hardness, so will give you the pop and durability you’re after. This Pure-X Street is the only dual pour wheel available as an outdoor wheel.

What is dual pour? The core of the wheel is softer to give more flex and maintain better grip and the outer part has a harder outer layer which gives more durability and speed.

This wheel is only available in 76mm and 80mm.

Who we recommend this wheel for?

This wheel is for players looking for a familiar feel to a high end performing indoor wheel. It offers durability, speed and grip. We reckon this wheel is the highest performing wheel in the outdoor range.

Next up is the Labeda range, there are two available both called Labeda Asphalts the only difference being one is an 83a and the other 84a.

Labeda Asphalt Wheels

What we stock….

Labeda Asphalt 83a

Labeda Asphalt 84a

Labeda Asphalt Wheels explained

We would rate this one closest match to the Konixx Rocket 2X.

There is no messing around with the Labeda Asphalts they offer a hard wheel which is compatible with most outdoor surfaces.

The Labeda Asphalt is a single pour wheel so offers durability and stiffness.

The Labeda Asphalt is available in 83a (white) and 84a (orange) and comes in 59mm, 68mm, 72mm, 76mm and 80mm.

Who we recommend this wheel for?

Just like the Rocket 2X the Labeda Asphalt should be a go to wheel if you want a stiff robust wheel for a mix of outdoor surfaces at a mid-level price point.
